Setting up automatic receipt printing
If you have a receipt printer installed, then you can activate automatic receipt printing. For a receipt to print automatically, the default receipt printer needs to be connected and switched on. You can set the default receipt printer and select any printer that you have installed.
Steps:
From the Shopify POS app, tap
¡Ôand then tap Settings.Tap Printed receipt settings.
Enable the Automatically print receipts.
Customizing receipts
Note
This feature is available only to merchants using Shopify POS Pro.
You can customize the template for your printed receipts. You can't edit the transaction information on printed receipts.
If you have staff with POS PINs, then you can remove their access to the receipt customization settings by enabling the Limited permissions option from your Staff settings screen.
Tip
If you want to edit your email and SMS receipts, then go to the Notifications page of your Shopify admin, and edit the POS and mobile receipt template.

You can include store information, such as your return policy or store hours, in the header and footer of your receipts.
Steps:
From the Shopify POS app, tap
¡Ôand then tap Settings.Tap Printed receipt settings.
On the Receipt Settings screen, tap either Add header text or Add footer text.
Enter your custom text, and then tap Save.
Include information on your receipts
You can customize your receipts by enabling the information that you want included on them.
For example, you can include a receipt barcode that when scanned with a barcode scanner (2D version only) or your device's camera the matching order is opened in Shopify POS.
