The Chipper 2X BT card reader is an EMV-compliant card reader that connects wirelessly using Bluetooth to your iOS devices. You can use the Chipper 2X BT card reader to accept tap, chip, and swipe payments with the Shopify POS app.
Note
Shopify's Chipper 2X BT card reader is only available to merchants based in the United States.
Chipper 2X BT card reader requirements
Note
Your shop country and store location country must be the same in order to use the Chipper 2X BT card reader. Learn more about payment compliance.
To use the Chipper 2X BT card reader, you need to meet the following requirements:
a store based in the United States
Shopify Payments activated as your retail store's payment provider
the Shopify POS app
The Shopify POS app works with the following devices:
