Slideshow
With Venture, you can display a large slideshow on your home page.
The recommended size for your slideshow images is 1800 x 1000px. Venture's slideshow is responsive, which means it will resize and crop your images dynamically depending on the device your customer is using to view your store. For more information on optimizing your images, see Best practices for images.
The slideshow section includes the following settings:
Content
Image - Add an image to display in your slideshow.
Link URL - Link your slide to another part of your online store.
Image position - Choose the most important area of the image to focus on in the slideshow.
Heading - Add a heading to your slide.
Button text - Add a button with a text label to your slide.
Button link - Set the URL or page that you want the button to link to. Paste in the URL or select a page from the menu. If you do not want to include a button in the section, then leave this field empty.
Settings
Slide height - Set the height of the slideshow. Select Adapt to first image to base the height of your slideshow on the height of your first image.
Auto-rotate slides - Set the slideshow to play automatically.
Change slides every - Choose how often to change slides.
Customize your slideshow
PC：
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Next to Venture, click Customize.
Click Add section.
Click Slideshow, and then click Select.
To add images to the slideshow, click an Image block to customize it:
Click Select image, and then do one of the following:
To select an image that you have already uploaded to your Shopify admin, click the Library tab.
To select a stock image from Burst, click the Free images tab. From here you can enter a search term, or browse the image categories.
To select an image from your local computer, click the Library tab, and then click Upload.
To change what part of the image shows in the slideshow, select an option from the Image position drop-down menu.
If you want to add a link to the slide, do one of the following:
If you want to link the text on your slide to a page in your store, then click in the Link URL field and select a page.
If you want to link the text on your slide to a website, then paste the website's URL in the Link URL field.
If you want to add text to your slide, do the following:
Use the settings to customize your slideshow.
Click Save.
In the Heading field, type the heading you want to appear on the slide.
In the Subheading field, type the subheading text you want to appear below the heading.

Collection list
On desktops and tablets, you can show up to six featured collections on your home page.
On mobile devices, the featured collections section shows your store's main menu by default. This makes it easier for customers on mobile devices to access your store's entire inventory.
You can check Use secondary image layout to have your collection images fill their entire tiles. If you choose this option, then you might need to change the Featured collection titles color setting.
Add a collection list to your home page
PC：
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Next to Venture, click Customize.
Click Add section.
Click Collection list, and then click Select.
To add collections to the section, customize each Collection block:
Click a collection block and then click Select a collection.
From the Collection drop-down list, select a collection to display or click Create collection to make a new one.

To add additional Collection blocks, click Add Collection.
Click Save.
