Overview of Shopify Capital
If you're eligible for funding from Shopify Capital, then you'll see a pre-qualified amount in your Shopify admin. If you click to apply, then it typically takes 2-5 business days for your application to be processed. If you're approved, then you could receive the money in your business bank account within two business days.

Eligibility for funding from Shopify Capital
Note
Shopify Capital loans are currently limited to Shopify stores located in select US states.
Shopify Capital merchant cash advances are available in all remaining US states, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
If you're eligible for funding from Shopify Capital, then you'll receive an email and see a message on the Home page of your Shopify admin inviting you to view your available funding options.
If you do not receive an invitation to view your funding options, then you are not eligible for funding from Shopify Capital at this time.
Shopify Capital and Shopify Payments
Shopify Capital is available to eligible merchants using Shopify Payments as well as eligible merchants using third party payment gateways. We encourage you to use Shopify Payments as it's a first party product, designed to help you succeed through a powerful view of your performance, custom analytics, and access to other Shopify financial solutions.
If you're using Shopify Payments when you receive funding from Shopify Capital, then you can't deactivate Shopify Payments until the total amount owed is fully repaid. If you try to deactivate Shopify Payments while you're in an ongoing funding agreement with Shopify Capital, then you'll see an Unable to deactivate Shopify Payments message. When the total amount owed is fully repaid, you can deactivate Shopify Payments if you wish to do so.
You can still change the business bank account associated with your Shopify Payments from Settings > Payment providers. This changes the business bank account where your Shopify Payments payouts are deposited to, as well as where your Shopify Capital repayments are withdrawn from. The repayments and payouts cannot happen from separate accounts.
Note
Any repayments already scheduled are still debited using the old business bank account information as they have already been submitted for transfer. Any new repayments generated after the change go to the new account.
Shopify Capital and third-party payment providers
If you're using a third-party payment provider, then you can change your banking information at any time by clicking Change bank account on the Capital settings page of your Shopify admin.
Note
Any repayments already scheduled are still debited using the old business bank account information as they have already been submitted for transfer. Any new repayments generated after the change go to the new account.
Request a pre-qualified amount from Shopify Capital
If you're eligible for funding from Shopify Capital, then you'll see an invitation with your available funding options on your Home page.
Steps
On your Home page containing the invitation, click Request under the pre-qualified amount that you want.
Review the terms for your application and then click Accept terms.
On the Apply for Shopify Capital page, enter the required details and then click Next.
In the Add business bank account section, enter your bank details and then click Next.
Under Review funding details, review your information and then click Apply for offer.
You might need to submit additional documents before your funding application is approved. You are notified by email if your application is approved.
