Send FBA Inventory to Distributors Using Multi-Channel Fulfillment
With Multi-Channel Fulfillment, you can not only fulfill customer orders from sales channels other than Amazon.com, but you can also ship your FBA inventory to a distributor. Fulfillment Fees for Multi-Channel Fulfillment Orders apply.
The following is a suggested method. Please work with your distributor to determine the easiest way for them to receive your shipment.
How to Set Up Your Multi-Channel Fulfillment Account
First, modify your account settings to enable Multi-Channel Fulfillment for this purpose.
In Seller Central, go to Settings. Select Fulfillment by Amazon, Multi-Channel Fulfillment Settings, and click Edit.
Under Packing Slip - Merchant Name, type your seller name.
Under Packing Slip - Text, type "Please receive to the PO found on this packing slip or in the address field on the shipping box".
How to Create Multi-Channel Fulfillment Shipments for Distributors
When creating your Multi-Channel Fulfillment Order:
In the Ship To Address section, in the Full Name field, enter the distributor name followed by the Purchase Order (PO) number. For the Address fields, enter the destination address as designated by your distributor.
In the Set Order ID field, enter the distributor name and PO number again.
Doing this will automatically fill in the Print on Packing Slip Order ID field. In the comments, repeat the same text (distributor name and Purchase Order (PO) number) one more time.
Note: If there is more than one PO associated with the shipment, list all of the POs in the comments.
Finish submitting the order according to the steps listed on Submit or cancel a Multi-Channel Fulfillment order.
